Ross Structural Steel was founded in 1956 by James G. Ross, in a small office and Quonset hut in northeast Detroit. Over the course of fifty years the company has grown to occupy a modern 53,000-square-foot complex on the same site.

Ross Structural Steel traditionally adopts cutting edge innovations in design and fabrication technology in pursuit of the most accurate and efficient steel fabrication in the industry. Your steel fabrication flows smoothly each step of the way from engineering to production to loading for on-time delivery.

Our facilities include:
A 45,000-square-foot fabrication shop featuring automated CNC equipment
A 2,000-square-foot digital engineering center
A 6,000-square-foot office space housing sales, operations and administrative functions.
