Kennedy Square is a ten story office building located prominently in downtown Detroit opposite Campus Martius. The building was erected above an existing three deck underground parking structure using a tower crane. A unique engineering feature of the building is the cantilevered lower floors over the Woodward Avenue sidewalk. The floors are supported by a tubular hanger brace.
